It can often be difficult for people to ask for support when caring for people living with dementia, and that is OK. But it is also important to know that you can ask for support. There are many other people who are going through similar feelings. There are common struggles, questions, doubts and fears… there are also ways to experience comfort and joy even living with dementia.

We have put together a list of blogs, services and books (see below) that we feel are informative and extremely useful in finding ways of coping and furthering resilience in caring for someone living with dementia.

We are the co-host with the Hilgos Foundation (Illinois) of the popular weekly on-line discussion form on Twitter #AlzChat. Every Monday evening at 3pm EST time and 8pm UK time. Professionals, family carers and people living with dementia join in a weekly topic that aims to inform, uplift and share latest dementia care news.
